Third through fifth grade read the book, One Plastic Bag: Isatou Ceesay and the Recycling Women of the Gambia by Miranda Paul.
This book shares a wonderful message of how the world needs us to say something through our creativity, words or actions in order to inspire others in a positive way. Kindergarten through second grade read the book, Say Something by Peter H. Gorab, Art Teacher on this school wide project. Packanack Elementary School participated in a community activism project during Black History Month.
